The *Heathrow
Express* was officially opened by the Prime Minister in June 1998 - thus making the train
journey between Paddington Station and Heathrow's Terminal 1 only 15 minutes. Within the £450m scheme AM provided the installation of all mechanical services to the ticket offices in Terminal 1 and Terminal 4, together with additional comprehensive services to the new retail units on Level B1 - all of which was designed by AM in compliance with *British Airport Authority* specification and guidelines.
